29 Fahrzeuge hatte Pfanzelt mitgebracht, darunter allein sieben Moritz-Raupenfahrzeuge. Der Grund für diesen Aufwand ist einfach: „Wir haben ein hohes Interesse an den Kunden, die diese Messe besuchen – vom Waldbauern bis zum professionellen Forstunternehmer“, erklärte Peter Voderholzer, Pressesprecher bei Pfanzelt. Für diese Zielgruppe hatte der Forsttechnikhersteller auch eine echte Neuheit dabei: ein Personenschutzdach. Montiert an einem Moritz, lässt sich die 250 Kilogramm schwere Konstruktion an einen Baum fahren und um den Stamm klappen. Zum Transport kann es kompakt auf dem Rücken des Moritz zusammengefaltet werden. Die Funktion des Systems, das noch ein Prototyp ist: Aufgrund des Triebsterbens eingegangene Eschen stellen für motormanuelle Kräfte eine hohe Gefahr dar. Das Schutzdach aus einem doppelten Netz soll den Mann an der Säge beim Fällen vor herunterfallenden Totästen schützen. Dabei kann das Schutzdach leicht geöffnet werden, um dem fallenden Baum Platz zu machen. Um erschütterungsfrei zu fällen, entwickelte Pfanzelt extra eine hydraulische Umdrückhilfe, die vom Moritz mit Öl versorgt wird. Der Baumfäller kann
aber auch den Moritz mit ausgefaltetem Dach zurückfahren und in dessen Schutz den Baum umseilen. Angesichts vieler in jüngster Zeit vertrockneter
Buchen eine aufwendige, aber clevere und sinnvolle Technik. Der Verkauf könnte schon in einem halben Jahr starten. Eine weitere Neuheit: der Powerdrive. Baute Pfanzelt bisher einen hydraulischen Radnabenantrieb von Black Bruin in seine Rückewagen ein, bietet die Eigenentwicklung
Powerdrive Vorteile: Kupplung und Getriebe stammen von Pfanzelt und der Ölmotor sitzt jetzt außen. Damit bleibt er zugänglich, unterschiedliche Motorgrößen können passend zum ziehenden Schlepper eingebaut werden, die Pfanzelt-übliche ADR-Bremse sowie eine individuelle Steuerung für Vor- und Nachlauf werden möglich.

Mechanical engineering company Pfanzelt has remained a prominent exhibitor at DLG Waldtage. While the Allgäu-based company was still represented by a regional dealer at the first event, the manufacturer set up a large stand of its own at DLG Waldtage 2017. However, this year’s stand was even bigger.
Pfanzelt brought along 29 vehicles including seven Moritz mini felling tractors alone. The reason the company went the extra mile is simple: “we are keen to meet customers visiting this exhibition – from foresters to professional forestry companies”, Peter Voderholzer explained in his role as the Pfanzelt spokesperson. The forestry technology manufacturer brought along a genuine innovation for this specific target group: a personal protection roof. Installed on a Moritz, the design weighing 250 kilograms can be moved towards a tree to cut the trunk. It can be folded together to a compact unit at the rear of the Moritz for transport. The system, still at the prototype stage, operates as follows: ash trees affected by dieback are very dangerous for manually operating staff. The protective roof consisting of a double-layered net is intended to protect saw operators from falling deadwood. In this process, the protective roof can easily be opened to make space for the falling tree. In an effort to enable felling without vibrations Pfanzelt specifically developed a hydraulic press unit that is supplied with oil by the Moritz. However, felling staff can also reverse the Moritz while the roof is extended to attach cables to the tree in a protected environment. A clever and sensible piece of technology in light of the many beeches that have recently dried out. Sales could already start in six months. A further innovation: Powerdrive. While Pfanzelt had previously installed a hydraulic wheel hub drive made by Black Bruin in its forwarding trailers, the Powerdrive in-house development offers a host of benefits: clutch and transmission are made by Pfanzelt and the oil motor has now been installed on the outside. As a result it remains accessible, different motor sizes can be installed to match attached trailers and Pfanzelt’s standard ADR brake and individual controls for leading and trailing units can now also be implemented.

Alors que ce fabricant de l'Allgaü s'était fait représenter à la première manifestation par un négociant régional, cette fois-ci, Pfanzelt a construit lui-même pour les journées forestières de 2017 un grand stand avec lequel il s'est encore surpassé.
Pfanzelt avait fait venir 29 véhicules, parmi lesquels sept véhicules chenillés Moritz. La raison de ce déploiement est simple : "Nous sommes très intéressés par les clients qui visitent cette foire – des sylviculteurs aux entrepreneurs forestiers professionnels," explique Peter Voderholzer, chargé de presse chez Pfanzelt. Pour ce groupe cible, le fabricant d'engins forestiers a dévoilé une véritable nouveauté : un toit protecteur de personne. Un Moritz, sur lequel est montée cette structure de 250 kg, s'approche d'un arbre et enroule la protection autour de son tronc. Pour le transport, la structure peut être pliée de manière compacte et placée sur le haut du Moritz. Fonction de ce système qui n'en est qu'au stade du prototype : En raison du dépérissement des pousses de frênes, les outils mécaniques utilisés manuellement représentent un grand danger. Le toit protecteur constitué d'un double filet doit protéger la personne qui manie la scie électrique de la chute de branches mortes. Le toit s'ouvre ensuite légèrement pour laisser place à l'arbre qui chute. Pour abattre l'arbre sans vibrations, Pfanzelt a mis au point un dispositif de pression hydraulique alimenté en huile par le Moritz. Le bûcheron peut aussi faire reculer le Moritz, le toit étant replié, et, protégé par la machine, procéder aux entailles de l'arbre. Étant donné le grand nombre de hêtres qui ont connu la sécheresse ces derniers temps une technique chère, mais intelligente et sensée. Le toit pourrait être commercialisé en l'espace de six mois. Une autre nouveauté : le Powerdrive. Jusqu'ici Pfanzelt a intégré dans sa remorque de débardage un entraînement sur moyeu de roue de Black Bruin, aujourd'hui, le Powerdrive, mis au point par l'entreprise elle-même
offre de nombreux avantages : embrayage et entraînements sont construits par Pfanzelt et le moteur à huile est désormais placé à l'extérieur. Il est ainsi accessible. Des moteurs de différentes tailles peuvent y être intégrés en fonction de la remorque à tirer, le frein ADR bien connu de Pfanzelt ainsi qu'une commande individuelle pour l'entrée et la sortie deviennent possibles.
