Getting more work done with a single operator
When mowing roadside verges, Pfanzelt is showcasing the K Trac 1230, a mowing rig with three mowing arms and a vacuum collection system. A single operator controls the machine combination from the driver’s seat. The mowing and collection of clippings are integrated into a single process. For local authority depots and service providers with limited staff resources, this offers an opportunity to assess the workflow and on-site operation.
Driver and operator comfort also plays a role: the K Trac features a swivelling operator’s station with a clear view of the working implements. On the Pm Trac, the rotating operator’s station facilitates work with various attachments. The Moritz is remote-controlled, allowing the operator to guide the machine from a suitable position when working on embankments. On the tour, you can experience first-hand how these concepts perform in day-to-day operations.
When work can only be carried out within a short time window, the performance of the entire machine concept counts: how much area can be worked on in a single pass? What additional journeys or work steps are required? Such questions are particularly important given high energy and labour costs. The live demonstrations showcase the machine combinations under practical conditions, enabling visitors to assess them for their own operations.
