Since 1991, Pfanzelt Maschinenbau has been developing practical forestry technology in Rettenbach am Auerberg in the Allgäu region. What began as the manufacture of gear-driven cable winches has evolved into a versatile range of machinery for forest owners, forestry operations, service providers and other professional users. In our anniversary year, 2026, we will be celebrating 35 years of innovation, customer focus and a passion for technology.

More than 12,000 visitors from Germany and abroad made Pfanzelt’s 35th-anniversary celebrations a resounding success and created a unique atmosphere. Over the course of two days, live machine demonstrations, factory tours, helicopter flights and numerous attractions delighted trade visitors and families alike. Pfanzelt would like to extend its warmest thanks to all visitors, partners, exhibitors and the many volunteers who made this anniversary an unforgettable experience.

Accompanied by our experts, you will be given a comprehensive look behind the scenes – from design and production right through to final assembly. Get to know all the key departments and find out first-hand how innovative ideas are turned into high-performance machines for use in the forest.
The factory tours combine technical expertise with real-world practicality and demonstrate what has defined Pfanzelt for 35 years: quality, passion and a consistent focus on our customers’ requirements.

A family-friendly destination in the Allgäu with hands-on technology
The Pfanzelt Anniversary Festival is also a special family-friendly destination in the Allgäu. Whilst tech enthusiasts explore the machinery, factory tours and demonstrations, children can enjoy a varied play area with activities, games and plenty of space to get involved.
There is also a wide range of food and drink on offer. This makes for a relaxed family day out combining technology, adventure and a festive regional atmosphere.
Moritz World: Experience the versatility of the forestry crawler
In Moritz World, we showcase the versatility of our Moritz remote-controlled utility vehicle. Visitors can see the Moritz in action with a range of attachments and applications – from afforestation and forest maintenance to uses in bike parks and winter operations with a snow blower.
In the on-site cinema, you’ll gain further insights into various application scenarios and real-world case studies. This provides a comprehensive overview of just how flexibly the Moritz can be deployed across different working environments.
Helicopter Experience over Rettenbach am Auerberg
A special highlight also awaits visitors in the air. During the anniversary celebrations, you can witness a helicopter in action during the live shows and see how technology and precision work together, even from the air.
In addition, there is the opportunity to discover the festival site and the countryside around Rettenbach am Auerberg from a new perspective on helicopter sightseeing flights.

At the forstARENA in Pfanzelt, we’ll be demonstrating modern forestry technology in action. Look forward to live shows with a presenter, impressive machine demonstrations and practical insights into the interplay of technology, performance and operation.
Afterwards, visitors can try out selected machines for themselves on the test track and get a first-hand impression of their comfort, operation and potential applications.
