Nominated for the Austrofoma innovation prize The Pfanzelt logLINE forwarding trailer 1980 with combined drawbar tilt/suspension system has now been nominated for an innovation prize by the Austrian Federal Research Centre for Forestry in Ossiach. See a live presentation of the new logLINE series. The series offers uncompromisingly professional technology to everyone whose daily work involves heavy lifting in forests. The three models with load-bearing capacities of 14, 16 and 19 t respectively are optimised for powerful tractors and equipped with a heavy lift professional crane in the 7 m/t class. The large loading volume of the three trailers can be expanded yet further by chassis and stanchion extensions. In the L19 series model, and optionally in the L14 and L16 models, the forwarding trailer can be equipped with a draw bar suspension / tilt system. The steering draw bar also become a tilting device by the provision of an additional cylinder. This feature enables the flat bed to be placed in a horizontal position and the crane column vertically on slopes. During travel, this device acts as suspension, thus increasing driving safety and comfort.
