The machinery demonstration Waterway Maintenance Technology, organised by the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture, will take place on 8 October 2026 from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm in Hausstette near Bakum. The extensive site on the Fladder Canal, with its varied ditch profiles, large areas of dykes and bodies of water, offers real-world conditions for demonstrating modern technology for waterway maintenance.
The focus will be on solutions for mowing and maintaining embankments, riparian zones and hard-to-access areas. The event is therefore aimed in particular at maintenance associations, local authorities and public works departments, contractors and agricultural businesses.
Because waterway maintenance demands more than the standard approach
Pm Trac, Moritz and K Trac – built for real challenges.
In Hausstette, Pfanzelt is showcasing several machine designs in action. The range extends from the high-performance K Trac mower train, through the versatile Pm Trac, to the compact, remote-controlled Moritz forestry crawler.
K Trac 1230: Mowing trailer with three mowing arms and extraction system
A particular highlight is the K Trac 1230 with three mowing booms and a suction trailer. The machine’s design enables large areas and a variety of working zones to be tackled efficiently in a single pass. The cuttings are collected and removed directly as they are produced.
In addition, the K Trac is fitted with Reichhardt SMART COMMAND. This digital system solution supports the driver and demonstrates the possibilities offered by modern assistance systems for demanding maintenance tasks.
Two Pm Trac machines for mowing and tree and shrub maintenance
The Pm Trac 38 series is also demonstrating its versatility in Hausstette. A Pm Trac 3830 fitted with a BOS HE9054GC HD mowing boom is specially equipped for professional mowing and maintenance work.
Another Pm Trac 3820, fitted with a forestry crane and a Westtech Woodcracker CS510, demonstrates the possibilities for tree and shrub maintenance. The grapple saw allows trees and shrubs to be gripped, cut and deposited in a controlled manner. This extends the range of applications from traditional watercourse and embankment maintenance to professional tree and shrub maintenance.
Moritz Fr75: Three machine designs for sensitive and challenging terrain
No fewer than three Moritz Fr75 remote-controlled utility vehicles demonstrate just how versatile this compact utility vehicle is for watercourse and landscape maintenance.
One machine combines a KEMA cutter bar mower at the front and rear, as well as a belt rake. This allows different work stages and maintenance procedures to be carried out using a single compact utility vehicle.
Another Moritz Fr75 with a Dücker boom and attached mulcher enables work to be carried out in offset and hard-to-reach areas. In addition, a further mulcher is available via the three-point hitch.
A first for Hausstette: Moritz with special bog bands
Pfanzelt is presenting a special new development for the first time at the machinery demonstration in Hausstette: a Moritz Fr75 fitted with KEMA cutter bar mowers at the front and rear is being shown for the first time with special bog tracks.
The new track configuration is designed for use on particularly sensitive areas with low ground bearing capacity. Pfanzelt is thus focusing in particular on areas of application where soil conservation and minimising the impact on the ground are crucial.
Particularly when it comes to the maintenance of wetlands, moorland and sensitive riparian zones, the Moritz’s compact machine design offers interesting possibilities for mechanised yet soil-conserving cultivation.
