Pfanzelt presents the Moritz at the Downhill Bike Park Summit in the USA

From June 16–18, 2025, Pfanzelt will be showcasing its remote-controlled tool carrier Moritz at the Downhill Bike Park Summit of the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) in Killington, Vermont. For the first time, the German forestry and landscape equipment manufacturer will be presenting its innovative machine to a North American audience of mountain resort and bike park professionals.

High-performance trail building and maintenance

Pfanzelt’s Moritz is a compact, powerful, and remote-controlled crawler carrier originally designed for forestry applications in steep and sensitive terrain. Now, with specially developed attachments like the trail cutter, it is proving to be a valuable solution for bike trail construction and maintenance in mountain resorts.

Pfanzelt will be demonstrating how modern, efficient, and powerful trail building can be done with the Moritz and its trail-building tools—even in rough terrain. Tasks such as restoring washed-out trails or building entirely new lines can be carried out quickly, safely, and with minimal environmental impact.

Versatile machine for mountain resorts

In addition to trail work, the Moritz is ideal for year-round use in mountain tourism operations. From mowing and vegetation control in the summer to snow removal in winter with a snow blower attachment, the machine’s versatility makes it a smart investment for resorts looking to maintain trails and infrastructure across all seasons.

With its high climbing capability, traction winch for added safety on steep slopes, and compatibility with standard three-point attachments, the Moritz offers North American bike parks and ski resorts a unique and highly adaptable piece of equipment.
