Pfanzelt reaches the final round

On 25 June 2015, Paul Pfanzelt, the proprietor and managing director of Pfanzelt Maschinenbau GmbH received a certificate for the jury stage in the competition for the “Grand prix for medium-sized privately owned companies 2015” from Manfred Lingnau, Head of the Munich Service Centre of the Oskar Patzelt Foundation at an event in Munich’s Kulturhaus. Paul was pleased to see his company short-listed. Pfanzelt Maschinenbau was nominated for this year’s competition by Peter Däubler, economic advisor of the Ostallgäu district in January. The nomination itself is a distinction and shows that Pfanzelt forms part of Germany’s entrepreneurial elite, commented a proud Paul Pfanzelt. For the 21st time, the Oskar Patzelt Foundation is looking for entrants for its best “medium-sized privately owned companies” competition. Since it was first awarded in 1995, this prize has become one of the most prestigious prizes in German industry. Companies may not put themselves forward as candidates in this renowned competition – according to Die Welt, it is Germany’s most coveted industrial prize – they must be nominated by third parties. Only around one company in every thousand in Germany is nominated.
