After 5 years and around 5,000 operating hours, Ingelheim city forest has replaced the Pm Trac II with the current model, Pm Trac III 4f.
One of the reasons that convinced the city forest’s plant manager and ranger Florian Diehl are the mere seven minutes it takes to remove crane and cable winch from the Pm Trac to be able to use the vehicle for other purposes.
“You want to use other attachments instead of the crane or cable winch? No problem, Pm Trac features the Pfanzelt System for Attachment (PSA). Thanks to this sophisticated system the manufacturer promises that it is possible to remove the crane and cable winch within around 20 minutes. We all know that ex works data must often be taken with a pinch of salt and ranger Diehl also corrects this value – by cutting it: “it only takes seven minutes to remove forestry equipment from the tractor!” This is an unbeatable argument in favour of Pm Trac,as there are many more tasks waiting for this turquoise machine in Ingelheim’s city forest."
The Pm Trac concept has convinced everyone involved. Developments from Pm Trac II to Pm Trac III most of all make driver Roland Tscharntke happy.
