Rope distribution and rope infeed brake

The rope is always kept taut when drawn in, even if the trunk starts to slip or the rope is loose: all made possible by the Pfanzelt rope infeed brake.<br/> A cylinder presses the rope when it is drawn in with a brake roller against the brake block. The cylinder force is selected so that the rope can only be pressed against the brake block when it is in an unloaded state. When the rope is paid out, the brake disengages completely.
Position 1<br/> The rope infeed brake is actuated by activating the Pull function.
Position 2<br/> As soon as the rope is drawn in under load, the rope infeed brake opens.
Position 3<br/> During rope output, the rope infeed brake disengages completely and thus does not obstruct rope output.

The Pfanzelt rope output has been developed to increase operating comfort and to improve the rope winding quality. The rope payout device built into the pivoting arm of the rope distributor has a hydraulic drive and is electrically actuated. As soon as the rope payout is activated, the rope is pressed firmly against the rope roll via several flexibly mounted pressure rollers over a large radius. Thanks to the special structure and large contact area of the pressure rollers on the rope, the operability of the device is not impaired by soiling or rope damage.
